SesshomaruxReader (B-day request)

You sobbed into your hands. Your village was going to use you as a human sacrifice to get rid of the demon that was terrorizing your village. You heard the door open.

"Come ________ its time"

You got up and followed. You had chosen to be the human sacrifice because you were an orphan, but now you had realized that you wanted to live, but it was too late now. As you followed you made your way to a clearing where a bunch of village men were standing. They took you and tied you up to a thick pole they put in the ground. Saying goodbye they left you alone in the darkness of the night. At any sound you jumped in fright.

"I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't..." you kept whispering to yourself hoping that someone would come and help you.

You heard something coming. You tense up in fear. Soon you saw the demon. You wanted to scream, but your voice was gone. The demon crouched back and jumped at you. Before the demon could even touch you it fell to the ground dead. You looked to see a long white haired demon now standing on the now dead demon.

"You why are you here?"

You look around to see who was talking to you and then you realized it was the demon.

"I-I am or actually was a human sacrifice for that dead demon" to who you tried pointing at, but that was hard since you were still tied up.

The demon jumps up and lands in front of you. Up close you realize that he is really handsome. You blush and look down unable to look at him. In a second the rope that secured you to the pole was cut. You look up at the demon in shock. All the demon said was

"I am lord sesshomaru"

-1 year later-

It had been a year since sesshomaru had saved you. After he had saved you he took you to a village where this little girl Rin was. You stayed there taking care of Rin. You over the year had started to love sesshomaru. There was no way you would tell him that you love him though. You were human and he was a demon. You heard Rin calling you.

"What's wrong?" you asked her getting out of the small home you and she lived in.

"Lord Sesshomaru is here!"

"So why aren't you spending time with him?" you ask her.

Rin rolls her eyes

"He wanted to talk to you. Go to him already" she says pushing you.

"All right. All right. I'm going" you say.

You walk to the forest where you found Sesshomaru.

"Lord Sesshomaru" you say.

Sesshomaru looks at you and then starts to walk. You walk side by side with him when sesshomaru says

"________"

"Yes?" you say.

"I love you"

You look at sesshomaru. You never would have expected him to say that. Getting over your shock you reply

"I-I love you too Lord Sesshomaru"

Sesshomaru looks at you and gives you a small smile. You blush, but smile back. You had never seen him smile. Sesshomaru takes your hand in his and starts to walk again. That simple thing, holding hands, meant a lot since it spoke more words that sesshomaru could ever say out loud.
